Koei Tecmo showed the new Jrpg Fate/Samurai remnant gameplay

At the Fate/Grand Order Fest festival in Japan, Koei Tecmo has held a panel dedicated to the upcoming Jrpg Fate/Samurai Remnant.

We start with an extensive gameplay segment presented by the producer of the game. It can be found in a direct broadcast below at around 31:36.

We see how to eat in various "Yathai" (typical Japanese kiosks) and stroke the homeless cats, which, incidentally, treat your character. Of course, the lion’s share of the gameplay is fighting. During the battles, we can dynamically switch between the hero of Miyamoto Iori and Saber.

Following the gameplay, it was told about the new type of servants – "wandering", which can appear both as allies and as enemies. Having made friends with them, they will be able to accompany Miyamoto Iori in battle instead of Saber. I wonder what we learn about the first two. One of them is well known – Ku Chulein, and the second is a completely new, Tamamo Aria voiced by Chiy Saito (usually voices Tamamo -I -MaE). She is one of the nine Tamamo, and this is the first time we see her after a few weeks ago was announced her appearance.

You can also see Ku Chulein in action (of course, it is still voiced by his traditional actor Nobutosi Cannes) in a direct broadcast at the mark of 42:14.

Fate/Samurai Remnant will be released on September 28, 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch in Japan, and the Western release will take place every other day – September 29 for the same platforms. Preliminary orders are already available.

If you are not familiar with the Fate series, then its debut in Japan took place in 2004 in the form of Fate/Stay Night -oriented novels oriented on adult visual novels. Like many other popular Japanese franchises, debuting in the form of Eroge, later she abandoned her "adult" character (while retaining the level of the fan service) and turned into a large -scale multimedia project, including anime, manga and much more, and the culmination was the superpopular mobile game Fate/Grand Order, which was dedicated to today’s event.
