In Lords of the Fallen you can find weapons from Elden Ring and a reference to the most complex boss
In the fall of this year, developers from the HexWorks studio with the support of the publisher of CI Games will release the gloomy and complex role action Lords of the Fallen. The project promises to become an extraordinary restart of the original game of 2014, where many game aspects were rethought. Despite some distance from the original source, Lords of the Fallen is getting closer to the famous Souls series from Fromsoftware, and the authors of the game do not hide this. On the contrary, they are aware of the degree of influence of the Japanese franchise on their brainchild, and therefore many similar elements from Elden Ring can be found in Lords of the Fallen, but the project will remain completely unique.
Creative Director of HEXWORKS CEZAR Virtos in an interview for the MP1ST website admitted that his and the entire team of developers of the new Lords of the Fallen found Elden Ring. FromSoftware’s Studio decided to rethink many things that are familiar to her games, especially in the field of accessibility, which made the project like what they would like to see in HexWorks rethinking Lords of the Fallen. Hence the similar elements in two games appeared, although the developers initially did not set themselves such a goal.
According to Virtos, Lords of the Fallen is a unique and separate game, but some elements have nevertheless turned out to be too identical Elden Ring. For example, this applies to some weapons in the game that can. The authors’ team found a similarity in the instruments for the battle with enemies only when Elden Ring themselves passed after its release and at that time developing Lords of the Fallen to make changes in such a level in the game. The creative director also hinted at an unintentional reference to the most complex boss in Elden Ring – a mowing, Micellla’s blade. During the passage of Lords of the Fallen, players will be able to meet a very similar character, which will be decorated in their unique style of the project.
Lords of the Fallen and Elden Ring can be fully compared. The release of the project will be held on October 13 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
